Omolabake Foundation Donates Food Items to Senior Citizens of Ilupeju Ekiti

In celebrating this year’s Easter, the Omolabake Foundation has extended love to some senior citizens of Ilupeju Ekiti by donating food items to them.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation, the Executive Director, Mrs Omolabake Akinyemi-Oke said the gesture was part of the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Mrs Akinyemi-Oke listed the items to include rice, beans, Garri, Spaghetti, Semo and Salt, amongst other household needs.

She said that the donation was to help vulnerable persons “and to cushion the effects of the present economic realities in the country”.

“If God could send his only begotten son to the world for human redemption, then everyone needs to show love to one another according to one’s capacity”.

She opined that the food items would go a long way in bringing succour to the beneficiaries, who suffer the impact of the subsidy removal most.

The beneficiaries of the food donation could not hide their joy as they expressed their appreciation and also prayed for the donors, management and volunteers of Omolabake Foundation.
